About Me
I am a Product Manager based in San Francisco, CA.
I have 8 years experience helping people make money using B2B2C platforms, in the gig and creator economies. During this time I worked at Jyve, a grocery merchandising gig platform, and Tilia, a virtual economy solution.
For much of my time at Jyve, I worked as a Product Operations Manager where I interfaced directly with users, learning their pain points and celebrating with them in their successes. I used this empathy to transition into a Product Management role where I was able to drive impact at scale.
At Tilia, I focused my effort on the consumer facing payments widget, while also expanding my full-stack technical skills in API development and digital payments as I shifted into the FinTech industry.
Currently, I am freelancing in both web design and podcast production.
My Career Highlights
While an operations manager at Jyve, I owned contractor onboarding. My responsibilities grew and I began owning the entire contractor lifecycle, including acquisition, certification, quality & completion, payment, and off-boarding.
As I transitioned to Jyve’s Product team, I productized these operational processes in order to maximize impact:
Moving the onboarding process into the mobile app
Building automated checks for fraud and job completeness
Rolling out policy standards and the “Jyver Scorecard”
In continuing my passion to create simple and effective consumer experiences, I joined Tilia and focused on the payments embeddable web widget. This tool allows a business’s end-users to make payments, view transaction details, complete KYC & tax forms, and cash out their earnings.
At Tilia, I have expanded my technical acumen past the front end widget, leading product improvements on projects including development of new public APIs, SDKs, Indirect Tax determination, new 3rd party integration payment gateways (Stripe, Paypal, ACH, Wire, Gift Cards), and the “Revenue Share Model”.
At the moment, I am using the skills I have developed as a PM, in addition to the teachings of the Lean Product process, to launch a podcast and do freelance web design. I am open to new opportunities, please contact me to inquire.
